The49Store uses cookies and browser storage to keep the shopping experience working. This page explains the functions used by the custom storefront and its core store services.
1. Shopping bag and sessions
WooCommerce uses cookies to recognise a shopping session and keep the items in your bag as you move between pages. These can include woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash and a wp_woocommerce_session_ cookie. Disabling necessary cookies can prevent the bag or checkout from working correctly. More information is available in WooCommerce’s cookie documentation.
2. Saved favourites
The favourites feature stores the IDs of products you save in your browser’s local storage. The saved list stays on that browser and device until you clear it or remove the website’s storage. It does not reserve stock or fix a price, and it does not automatically transfer to another device.
Use “Clear favourites” on the Favourites page to remove the list. Your browser’s site-data controls can also remove it.
3. Payment and third-party services
Razorpay may use its own cookies or storage during payment. Google Fonts is used for typefaces, and the Contact page includes a Google Maps embed. Loading these services shares technical request information with their providers. Their own policies govern their services: Razorpay and Google.
4. Browser controls
You can review, block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data may remove saved favourites or reset your shopping session. Browser settings apply to that browser; repeat the change on other devices if needed.
